Hello and welcome to the Agriculture and Natural Resources program. This program covers the areas of field crops, forage crops, tobacco production, farm management and nutrient management in Prince George's County.
The Extension office would like to welcome Brian Clark as the new Horticulturte Educator. Brian come to us with a degree in Entomology with a focus on Field and Vegetables crop entomology.
Several recertification programs are currently under development to include private, turf and ornamental, pest control, agriculture, and nutrient management recertification programs in Prince George's County. I am also beginning the development of a certification program for landscape technicians. This certification program will help landscapers become more knowlegable in thier field, making them more valuable to their companies and able to create a more stable landscape.
